Age Limit for BPSC Bihar School Teacher TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026:

• Minimum Age: 18 years (Class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8)
• Minimum Age: 21 years (Class 9 to 10 and 11 to 12)
• Maximum Age: 37 years (Unreserved-Male)
• Maximum Age: 40 years (Unreserved-Female)
• Maximum Age: 40 years (Backward/Extremely Backward-Male and Female)
• Maximum Age: 42 years (SC/ST-Male and Female)

Note- Bihar BPSC provides age relaxation for Special School TRE 4.0 post as per its rules.

Candidates must fulfil one of the following educational qualifications to apply:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. degree, or
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject and Diploma in Elementary Education, or
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Special Diploma, or
• Passed 10+2 (as per 2002 rules) with minimum 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
• Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year B.Ed. degree, or
• Master’s degree with 55% marks and 3-year B.Ed. degree in Medical Education.

Apart from the above, candidates are required to have passed CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I.

Applicants must fulfil one of the following criteria to be eligible:

• Bachelor’s degree with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed), or
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or postgraduate degree with B.Ed, or
• Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and B.Ed, as per NCTE guidelines, or
• Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and BA B.Ed or B.Sc B.Ed integrated course, or
• Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and Special B.Ed, or
• Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programme.

Candidates must fulfil one of the following educational qualifications:

• Graduation or post-graduation degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject, plus a B.Ed. degree, or
• Graduation or post-graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks (as per 2002 rules) in the relevant subject and a B.Ed. degree, or
• Completion of a 4-year integrated B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. programme.
• Additionally, candidates must pass the STET Paper I exam.

• One passport size colour photograph of the candidate
• The background colour should be white or light green.

• There should be a clear signature of the candidate with black or blue pen on white paper.

•  Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent from any recognized board or institute.
• Higher qualification will also be acceptable but candidates must have required documents to prove it.

Candidates can apply online as per the scheduled date.
