NTA UG NEET Admission 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. Candidates who wish to apply for admission through the NEET UG 2026 examination can apply online through the official NTA website from February 8, 2026, to March 8, 2026.  For all information related to this application form, such as age limit, educational qualifications, selection process, syllabus, etc., please read the article below carefully before applying to avoid any difficulties during the application process.

  • Application Start Date: 08/02/2026
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 08/03/2026 till 09:00 PM
  • Last Date for Online Payment: 08/03/2026
  • Correction Window: 10-12 March 2026
  • NEET UG 2025 Exam Date: 03/05/2026 (Sunday)
  • Exam City Available: Before the exam

Application Fee:

  • General: ₹1700/-
  • EWS / OBC: ₹1600/-
  • SC / ST / PH: ₹1000/-

Payment Method: The examination fee can be paid offline through an e-challan or online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

 

 

NEET UG Eligibility 2026:

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects from any recognized board in India.

Age Limit for UG NEET Exam 2026:

  • Minimum age: 17 years
  • Maximum age: No limit
  • Date of birth: On or before 31.12.2009
  • Age relaxation as per rules.

 

 

NTA NEET 2026 UG Eligibility Codes

NEET UG Code 01: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination (12th class examination) in 2025, whose results have not yet been declared, can apply and take this test, but if they do not pass the qualifying examination with the required minimum percentage of marks by the time of the first round of counseling, they will not be eligible for admission to MBBS or BDS courses.

NEET UG Code 02: Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after 12 years of study, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject in the last two years of study and English at a level not less than the core course in English as suggested by the National Committee on Education after the introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure by the National Council of Educational Research and Training.

NEET UG Code 03: Intermediate/Pre-degree examination in Science from an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and English as compulsory subjects.

NEET UG Code 04: Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination after passing the Higher Secondary Examination or Pre-University or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination shall include practical tests in these subjects and English as a compulsory subject.

NEET UG Code 05: The first year of a three-year degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology, including practical tests in these subjects, provided the examination is a university examination and the candidate has passed the previous qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English at a level not less than the core course.

NEET UG Code 06: B.Sc. examination of an Indian University, provided the candidate has passed the B.Sc. examination. The candidate must have passed the examination with at least two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and the previous qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

NEET UG Code 07: Any other examination, the scope and standard of which (the last two years of 10+2 study including Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology, along with practical tests in these subjects) is equivalent to the Intermediate Science examination of an Indian University/Board, including Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology, along with practical tests in all these subjects and English.

Important Instructions for NEET UG

  • Aadhar card is mandatory for the All India NTA NEET 2026 examination.
  • Photo Instructions: A live photograph of the candidate and a clear passport-size and 4×6 size photograph (with ears visible) against a white background are required. The photograph must also include the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken, which should be after 01/01/2026.
