Age Limit for Bihar State Eligibility Test (STET) Examination 2026:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age (Male): 37 years
- Maximum age (Female): 40 years

Paper – 1 (Secondary)
|
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks and a pass in the B.Ed. examination; OR
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject and a pass in the B.Ed. examination; OR
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with at least 45% marks (in accordance with NCTE regulations) and B.Ed.; OR
- Passed a 4-year BA B.Ed. / BSc B.Ed. course.

Paper – 2 (Senor Secondary)
|
- A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks and a pass in the B.Ed. examination (or BA B.Ed./BSc B.Ed.); OR
- A Master’s degree with at least 45% marks (in accordance with NCTE regulations) along with a B.Ed.; OR
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks and a 3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

- Passport-sized photograph with a white or light-colored background
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature
- Required scanned copies:
- Class 10 (Matriculation) mark sheet and certificate for Date of Birth (DOB)
- Class 12 (Intermediate) mark sheet and certificate
- Bachelor’s degree mark sheet and certificate
- Master’s degree mark sheet and certificate
- B.Ed. examination mark sheet and certificate
- Other educational qualifications (if applicable)
