Age Limit for BPSC Bihar School Teacher TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026:

• Minimum Age: 18 years (Class 1 to 5 and 6 to 8)
• Minimum Age: 21 years (Class 9 to 10 and 11 to 12)
• Maximum Age: 37 years (Unreserved-Male)
• Maximum Age: 40 years (Unreserved-Female)
• Maximum Age: 40 years (Backward/Extremely Backward-Male and Female)
• Maximum Age: 42 years (SC/ST-Male and Female)
• Note- Bihar BPSC provides age relaxation for Special School TRE 4.0 post as per its rules.

• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; or
• Senior Secondary with 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002); or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed course; or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education); or
• Bachelor’s degree in any stream and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education;
• Must have passed or be appearing for the CTET / Bihar STET Paper I examination;

Important information before filling out the BPSC TRE 4.0 form:

• Candidates wishing to apply for BPSC TRE 4.0 should complete their BPSC OTR registration immediately to avoid any delays once the application process begins.
• Candidates appearing for the Bihar STET are eligible to fill out the form. (Candidates currently taking the exam must upload the STET declaration form.)
• When applying, the BSEB Unique ID number must be entered in place of the Bihar STET result card number.
• CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) candidates must enter the serial number mentioned on their certificate/marksheet in the form.
• There is no need to send the application form to BPSC.
